Payments

Registration payment must be received by April 16 to qualify for early registration discount.

CP 2010 registration is handled on behalf of the IEEE Computer Society by our cooperating sponsor, the Reengineering Forum industry association ('REF').

Payment through PayPal
Payment can be made on-line through the PayPal, a subsidiary of eBay.com, using a credit card or PayPal account. YOU MUST STILL SUBMIT THE CONFERENCE WEB REGISTRATION FORM, choosing PayPal as your method of payment. Then logon to PayPal and send your payment to REF's account "reengineer@reengineer.org".

Note that payment must be received by April 16 to qualify for early registration discount.

Credit Cards
When a credit card payment is selected on the registration form, the credit card charge is processed through the PayPal service firm. By providing information for a credit card payment, you agree that REF may act as your agent in the placement of the credit card charge. For security, the card charge is processed off-line within a few days after the on-line registration is submitted.

Credit card processing now requires that you provide the Card Verification Number that is printed on your card. For Visa & MC, the Card Verification Number is printed on the back of the card in the signature area. For Amex, it is printed on the front of the card. These numbers are flat printing, not raised lettering.
    Examples:   Visa/MC     Amex

Credit card charges placed by Reengineering Forum will appear on your card statement as either:
                    -- IEEE CP2010 conference.
                    or
-- "PayPal" with a reference of "Reengr Forum".
Please advise whoever will review your charge statement that this item is your conference registration. (Unnecessary disputes on credit card charges cause higher fees and therefore higher registration rates.)

Note that payment must be received by April 16 to qualify for early registration discount.

Bank Transfers
If you select to pay for your conference registration by bank transfer, the transfer instructions will be sent to you by email after your on-line registration is received. A charge of $20 USD is added to your total to cover the fees that are usually taken out of the transfered funds by the sending bank.

Registrations indicating payment by bank transfer are not final until payment is received in full.

Note that payment must be received by April 16 to qualify for early registration discount.

    Direct questions to register@computingprofessionals.org.

Notes
As a technical meeting of the field (not a trade show), all paper presenters register for the conference. Speakers (paper presenters) pay the registration fee at the Member rate when they mark the presenter box on the web registration form.

Student rate applies only to full-time undergraduate and graduate students, not otherwise employed. Proof of full-time student status, which can be a letter from your Department Chair or Thesis Advisor on university stationery, is required on request by the conference.

Members and staff of these CP 2010 supporting organizations are eligible for the member rate:
IEEE or IEEE-CS,       Reengineering Forum (REF),       ÉTS.

Registration fees for a full conference generally include one copy of conference materials, one ticket to conference meals and social events, and refreshment breaks. These items are not separately priced. Registration fees include any applicable taxes.

Whichever method of payment is used, make sure you include the name of the attendee.

Cancellations are subject to an administration fee of USD 50. No refunds after Friday, April 16.

Any substitution of attendees must be approved in advance by the General Chair.
